I love headphones and happiness is a long evening of listening to jazz through one of my favorite pairs. Too much dependency on headphones, however, can trigger neck strain. So, under doctor's orders, I went looking for a desktop speaker system. II decided to experiment with a pair of Spektor 2s powered by a Bluesound Powernode 2i. Boy did I guess right! I was worried about the bass from such a small pair of speakers, but even with the back of the speakers more than a foot away from the wall, the bass is deep and full. I was also worried about sound stage and imaging, but situated four feet away from each other on my desktop, the Spektor 2s do an impressive job of creating a near field monitor effect. I close my eyes and hear a tight sound field with a surprising amount of separation between the instruments being played. I think the ultimate compliment I can give these speakers is that I have twenty pairs of headphones in the room yet I have been listening to these speakers for five days straight.

This is the 5th node I have bought. Whole home audio fir two houses.

I love these speakers! We have two in our house now, along with our main entertainment setup. The interface is easy to use, and the sound is rich and extremely well-timed. If you want great audio with whole home potential, this is it.

Had it for about 2 weeks. I had just a bit of trouble getting it set up on BlueOS, but once I did a hard reset it worked and has been working ever since. Seems to have plenty of power. I do have to turn it up towards the top end, but with that said there is still headroom at "too loud" volume and it sounds clean and unstrained so it's not really an issue. It looks beautiful and is easy to use.

I have it paired with Wharfdale Linton 85th anniversary for some delicious Retro-Future Fi vibes and I love how it sounds. I'm using Spotify connect mostly so I'm not trying to get the last ounce of resolution and detail out. My guess is that this same unit paired with more technical/resolving speakers will get there. I haven't even used DIRAC yet and don't have a sub paired with it, but I love knowing that I can very easily enhance the bass with the sub out and help with room issues once I get around to DIRAC. I will also be using it with HDMI arc so this unit is really a dream combination of looks, sound, and modern features for 2 channel listening.

Powernode plus Duo delivers brilliant sound for the price point. Clear even at low volumes and with outstanding bass. Just hoping the reliability is better than some of my other Bluesound products.

PSB M4U2 headphones came indistinguishable from brand new. They work great. Wired NC heeadphones with an internal amp. A timeless product you don't have to update. Build quality is good as long as you show care. I do not even fold these up unless I travel. Sound is detailed and powerful. Look is very stylish. Accessories are appropriate and insure longevity. For $99, buy these over other PSB bluetooth. Room feel sound is a WOW. Legendary!!

I purchased these speakers previously direct from PSB but I did not like them too much, but after I sent them back I realized I missed them. This time I bought from the Audio Factory because they were not available thru PSB anymore. This time I left the speakers on for 3 or 4 days and was rewarded with a beautiful rich sound. I was looking for towers with a mid speaker and bi wiring these fit the fill. Really Iike these speakers above my Goldenear triton 7s and my bookshelf Focal 907w's

I’m replacing my Arcam AVM 41 with the V2 which is not in anyway anything less that a superior pre amp processor. Side by side comparison the V2 shows comparable and then outstanding performance. It’s worth every dollar and a fine product to upgrade to.

It looked like, it was packed like, and ran like it was brand new.

I’ve owned a few of the BluOS amps and decided to pull the trigger on the c700. It arrived in as-new condition and functioned perfectly out of the box. Extremely pleased, especially at the purchase price point.
