Love the refined sound! Improvement over the C700 it replaced. Great deal at the recertified price. Haven’t attempted the Dirac correction yet. We’ll see if I do it. Would prefer that you be given the option of selecting the screen appearance, the initial with data info, or the stripped down screen it changes to shortly after starting play. Might have to search through on line manuals for that. Also, I wish that they’d done a factory reset before sending it out and as a part of the “recertification” process. Someone else’s Qobuz favorites, etc overwrote mine throughout my BluOS devices. Kinda annoying.
I was not looking to spend $1100+ dollars to upgrade from the Dali Spektor 2 speakers I had been listening to for the past two years, but I am glad that I did. Obviously I like the Dali sound, but I was not prepared for the richness of the detail to be heard, particularly in the lower regions of the midrange. These speakers are perfect as desktop near field monitors, but they are also great at filling a room, so that you can enjoy their sound even when you are not sitting directly in front of them. Yes they are an investment, but they do pay dividends in terms of the joy they bring to music listened to through them.
I’m really impressed with The Audio Factory. They shipped it out sooo fast that I received it in barely over 24 hours, so kudos to them. This is my first music streamer, so I didn’t know what to expect. I was up and running in no time because the Node Icon is very easy to setup and use. Based on all the reviews I read, I expected the Node Icon to sound amazing and I was not disappointed. The clarity is great and it has a warm sound that I wasn’t expecting. Very happy with this purchase!
The PSB center channel works great and was in like new condition. Dialogue from movies and TV are clear and the unit hooked up easily to My Yamaha AVR.
Pair the lower nose with a decent pair of bookshelf speakers and basically have great sound from a compact system. At list price it may not make sense, but at the audio factory price it is hard to beat. And it is real hifi, not a “lifestyle system”. Pairs well with Dali Spektor 2.
If I didn’t know any better, I would have thought my refurbished amp was brand new. I expected some blemishes and I didn’t see any. With the money I saved, I might be adding a refurbished NAD CD player. Shipping was faster than I expected. I paired the NAD C 3050 with the Warfedale Linton speakers and an Audio Technica AT-LP120 turntable. I think my modest setup looks and sounds great.
As someone who’s spent years dialing in sound quality and connectivity (especially with lively & punchy signatures), the NAD C389 hits a sweet spot that many modern integrated amplifiers strive for — but few fully achieve. It’s a true hybrid: bridging classic NAD musicality with modern DAC performance and practical connectivity.
This sub was a scratch and dent it had a few dents in its wood case but they were fixable with a little glue and wood shaving.... the sub works fine and sound great
The Dali e12f pairs beautifully with my Dali on-wall speakers. It has a minor dent on the back corner that is barely visible and easily offset by the huge discount.
