Let customers speak for us
from 736 reviewsUnlike the thin Japanese sound, these headphones sound robust. My music source is good so the clarity is very good. The shipping service and the automated communication were excellent. I would definitely come back and shop at this site again.
I’m a Mac guy; she’s a Google gal. This streamer has given us a way to hand casting duties and/or privileges off to one another seamlessly across platforms. Works very well for us!
Sound is great and looks elegant on the wall.
Sounds amazing as the center in my theater room. Would recommend.
They sound amazing as front speakers in my theater room. Would recommend.
Sound is amazing and aethetically pleasing for a wall speaker.
First off... kudos to The Audio Factory!! Very fast shipping and the Nano I received was packed like it was brand new... and the price - Wow... they are selling the unit for only $303... plus, if you join their mailing list, you get another 10% off. That's over $100 less than most retailers.
The BlueOS app (Windows Version) is very easy tp setup and use. After I installed unit in my system, the app recognized it immediately. USB output was simple and straight forward.
I am using the Nano with an external DAC via USB output only.
Associated Gear - Pangea Ethernet Cable with an iFi LAN iSilencer connected (between the cable and the Nano) to the Nano. USB connection is an OYAIDE Neo d+ USB class A Cable with an iFi iSilencer+ between the USB Cable and the Nano. DAC is Geshelli Labs J2S with the AK4493 DAC chip and Burson V7 Vivid Pro RCA OpAmp. The DAC's power source is an iFi iPower X. The DAC is connected to a Schiit Audio Saga 2 Preamp via a Blue Jeans Cable LC-2 interconnect cable. Music source is Tidal Connect using an Android Tablet. I am using the surprisingly good Nano stock power supply (upgrading to a Linear Power Supply soon).
What the Nano doesn't do.... fail to connect, drop-out, randomly buffer (talk about crushing a vibe), make me frustrated. The reasons I gave up on my previous Streamer, even though it sounded good.
The Nano's sound... in a word. Wonderful!! Great separation, pinpoint location of vocals and instruments, wide and deep sound stage at the appropriate height. It has a great feeling of presence. Although my previous Streamer had good synergy with my system. The Nano is significantly better.
Even at list price, I would highly recommend the Node Nano... at the price I paid, it is an absolute steal!!
No cord management, no wall screws or anchors included. BUT fits like a glove and well made. Cheers!
Perfect for my application. I love the modular design. When I first assembled it I didn't like the configuration and it was quick and easy to change to my liking.
Everything about this table exudes quality; the heavy, beautifully crafted real glass platter makes for stable playing. The aluminum lengthened tone arm is precise and has the right amount of rigidity and heft without feeling cumbersome. Every seam and surface is accounted for. Anything you touch has a solid, premium feel. The lid hinges can be individually tuned to allow the lid to remain open anywhere along the path (I have mine in a vertically tight space, so this was vital). The Ortofon OM10 gets the job done and sounds musical and revealing without being clinical and fatiguing . I replaced a relatively new Audio-Technica with A-T "Green" cartridge, and while that table sounds great, too, the NAD sounds noticeably better and more refined. I am happier with it than I expected I would be, which is always a great thing - HIGHLY recommended.
I was a little concerned about buying a refurbished amplifier but, from the time I started unboxing it, my concerns disappeared. I’m very happy with the sound, and using the BlueOs to access my streaming service is very convenient and easy.
I've had these for about a month now. Previously, I had the Dali Suite 2.8 as my main speakers and they were fantastic. The Rubicon 6 out perform those on all levels. Music is just so smooth and you can pick out every instrument and voice and where they're located in the soundstage. I love how these speakers present music and I think you will too.
Having used Nodes for years, and been impressed with their sound and software, I decided to try an Icon. The Icon builds on the sound quality and offers hassle free software. The display helps. I like this streamer a lot.
I already have the a Umik1 but wanted to make things simple and use the Dirac iPhone app. Got this mic, hooked it up to the M17 V2i and ran Dirac. Results were comparable to using a laptop and the Umik1.
I bought the NAD CD player and powered speakers to play my CD collection. I love the simplicity of NAD components. No silly features and it just works. I was concerned about buying refurbished, but it’s in great condition. I’d definitely buy the C 538 again.
