NAD C3050 Hybrid Digital Amplifier
NAD C 3050 STEREOPHONIC AMPLIFIER
Paying tribute to NAD’s 50-year history of innovation and value, the C 3050’s vintage design was inspired by the NAD 3030 Stereophonic Amplifier, a 1970s classic. Retro design elements include dual VU meters, push-button input selectors, a walnut-finished vinyl-clad cabinet, and a dark grey front panel with the original New Acoustic Dimension logo in its 1970s cursive typeface. Underneath its vintage-inspired exterior are advanced features like a HybridDigital UcD output stage, high-performance Texas Instruments PCM5242 differential DAC, and NAD’s MDC2 future-proofing technology. Listeners can add exciting new capabilities like BluOS highresolution multi-room streaming and Dirac Live room correction to the C 3050 by inserting an optional module into the MDC2 expansion slot on the rear panel.
AMPLIFIER INNOVATION
Employing NAD’s proven HybridDigital UcD amplifier technology, the C 3050 can deliver 100 Watts per channel of continuous power and 135Wpc of instantaneous peak power for effortless reproduction of musical transients. Noise and distortion are virtually unmeasurable through the entire audio-band. The result is neutral, distortion-free sound through any loudspeaker load—even at high listening levels. The C 3050 will reproduce the music you love with wonderful detail, immersive three-dimensionality, and thrilling dynamics. The C 3050’s digital section is built around Texas Instruments’ PCM5242 high-resolution differential DAC, a design known for its excellent dynamic performance and immunity to clock jitter. This enables the C 3050 to deliver amazing musicality, stunning clarity, and pinpoint sound-staging from all your digital sources.
READY FOR THE FUTURE
The C 3050 features the latest generation of NAD’s Modular Design Construction future-proofing technology, MDC2, which lets users add new functions and features by inserting a module into the MDC2 slot on the back panel. The optional MDC2 BluOS-D module delivers two highly desirable capabilities: BluOS high-resolution music streaming and Dirac Live room correction.
MUSIC EVERYWHERE
Featuring dual-band Wi-Fi and Gigabit Ethernet, the MDC2 BluOS-D connects you to almost all the music ever recorded through BluOS, the award-winning wireless music-management system. With the MDC2 BluOS-D installed, the C 3050 can be part of a whole-home music system with as many as 64 zones. BluOS has integrated support for more than 20 popular streaming services, including several that offer lossless and high-resolution audio, such as Amazon Music Ultra HD, Deezer, Qobuz, and Tidal. BluOS supports high-resolution audio to 24-bit/192kHz, and has MQA decoding and rendering capability, for studio-quality streaming. The MDC2 BluOS-D also lets you play music from your personal library and thousands of internet radio stations through the C 3050. You can select music using the intuitive BluOS Controller app, available for Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows. The MDC2 BluOS-D supports Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect, so you can cue up music in the apps for those services, then transfer playback to the C 3050. Also supported is Apple AirPlay 2, so you can stream audio to the MDC2 BluOS-D from any app on an iPhone, iPad or Macintosh computer. You can also control playback by voice using Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, or Apple Siri. Bidirectional aptX HD Bluetooth connectivity lets you stream audio to the MDC2 BluOS-D from a smart device and stream audio from the C 3050 to a pair of wireless headphones.
TUNE YOUR ROOM
The optional MDC2 BluOS-D lets C 3050 owners address the weakest link in most music systems-the listening environment. Connect the supplied microphone to the MDC2 BluOS-D’s USB port, and then follow instructions in the easy-to-use Dirac Live** app. Dirac will play test tones through your speakers, analyze the results, and then create correction filters that counteract common acoustic problems like standing waves and unwanted reflections. You can create up to five settings for different listener positions or room conditions, for example whether the drapes are open or closed. With Dirac Live enabled, you’ll enjoy deeper and tighter bass, vastly improved tonal accuracy, greater clarity, and more precise imaging. Because MDC2 enables twoway communications between the expansion module and host component, you’ll experience these transformative benefits with all sources connected to the C 3050.
PLUG AND PLAY
With its full suite of digital and analogue inputs, the C 3050 can accommodate all your source components. In addition to an ultra-low-noise MM phono input for connecting a turntable and an HDMI eARC port for connecting an HDTV, the C 3050 has a pair of line-level analogue input and coaxial and optical digital inputs. Listeners can connect two pairs of speakers with Speaker A/B switching, as well as a subwoofer. The C 3050 also has a dedicated headphone amplifier, and pre-out/ main-in jacks that let you connect a more powerful amplifier and or the C 3050 as a preamp only. The C 3050 includes an IR remote control and has installer-friendly features like 12V trigger and IR input.
A FEAST FOR THE SENSES
With its vintage-inspired design and innovative technology, the NAD C 3050 Stereo Integrated Amplifier is a feast for the eyes and ears. The C 3050’s MDC2 port makes it easy to add compelling features like BluOS multi-room streaming and Dirac Live room correction—not to mention new capabilities that have yet to be developed. In the C 3050, NAD’s 50-year history of amplifier innovation meets the future of hi-fi.

Let customers speak for us
from 557 reviewsThis is a great speaker. We use it in a open space kitchen and it still sounds great. The Audio Factory has great pricing and this delivery was really quick. I am a repeat customer with these guys. Highly recommend.
Great sound from such a small and inexpensive speaker. Easy to setup and use too.
I've been using Bluesound for a few years now. Starting with the Vault 2i then adding the Pulse 2i. I needed speakers for my PC so I decided to try the Flex 2i.
Flex offers a couple ways to hook to the PC. One is the 3.5mm jack and then Bluetooth. I planned to use the jack, but the day I received the Flex I ran through the updates and saw it was available on my PC Bluetooth. I synced them up and it works with no major issues. Only thing is a slight delay when starting PC audio such as a YouTube or X video. It doesn't play the first couple seconds of audio but you can restart the source and it's fine.
I'm able to use the BluOS app on the PC and mobile devices to network my music as normal. Grouping all the Bluesound devices works as normal. No delay or sync issues with BluOS or Tidal Connect.
I decided to just do one Flex in mono since 2 in stereo at my desktop isn't really needed. This little speaker puts out some decent volume and sounds very good for what it is. Obviously it's limited in range due to the size, but there's actually decent bass output and will play loud if needed. I may just pick up the battery pack to have a portable boom box. I'd say it's on par with some of the larger JVC portables, just not as boomy. Sound quality is pretty good for a small device. You can adjust bass/treble in the BluOS settings if needed to get things dialed in.
My only real knock is the display lights. Bluesound devices are always on, so the display is always lit up. Even on the lowest setting it's still pretty bright. I turned it off since it was lighting up the room next to the bedroom at night.
This sound bar has wonderful sound as you would expect from the people that make pub speakers. I have a whole house system using the bluesound brand and I love all of the products I own. I only wish that they would make outdoor speakers that would be added to my network.
Excellent DAC.
The NAD M10 is the unique combination of design, engineering and intelligent execution. This M10 becomes the hub of your system, taking the latest technology of streaming, room correction and clean, powerful amplification delivered to your speakers. What you hear is a transparent, wide and holographic soundstage, delivered with authority.
Amazing sound across the audio spectrum, sufficient bass, better when adding a subwoofer. Great looking, best on wall I’ve ever heard. I have 5 in my surround system and expect to purchase two more. Received all in perfect condition.
Excellent response across the audio spectrum. I’m using them in my surround setup for movies as well as stereo audio using an Arcam 41 preamp and Fosi mono amps. In a 9.1 system giving me the floor space I needed. I’ve tried other on wall speakers and these have beat them all for sound and esthetics. The Audio Factory prices can’t be beat all my speakers working without fault.
For an 8" sub it has all the features I would ever need including both line input, LFE, and speaker inputs. It's in an attractive ported box and draws very little current when idling. The satellite speakers are small, but sound better than expected and meet my wife's criteria. Almost invisible. For the $ these are a very good value. Drive the sat's from a little class d amp and drive the sub from the sub out of my Node. Using as a 2.1 system for my new OLED TV and love it.
Shipping and service was great too. Thank you...I'll be back!
I needed a reasonably priced sound system for my garage shop to replace an aging Squeezebox Boombox. I looked at BlueTooth speakers but did not find anything that sounded good enough and I was worried that if I walked away from them I'd need to reconnect when I returned. Since the Bluesound components are WiFi I knew I wouldn't have this problem. I've always liked Bluesound components - I have a Powernode and a Node2 in two sound systems in the house - and I really like the control features of the Bluesound app. When I found Audio Factory with their factory reconditioned units at very attractive prices I decided to try a pair of PULSE FLEX 2i speakers configured as a stereo pair. The speakers arrived quickly and each looked brand new in perfect factory packaging with no signs of reconditioning. I was able to easily connect them to my network, go through software updating, then configuring them as a stereo pair using the app. The sound quality is amazing considering their small size, very musical with natrual sounding bass. These generate more than enough volume without distortion and reasonable punch. They fit my application perfectly and I am very happy with them.
Installed the Powernode to run our outdoor patio speakers (Klipsch AW-650). Ran the wiring through the attic to an upstairs closet where the Powernode sits. Works perfect. Absolutely great sound and more than enough power. Can run it all from the cell phone which makes it even better. Highly recommend.
The Powernode also came with the Bluesound D30 DUO. Those will be going to my office for an upgrade in a few weeks.
It was seamless to install. Looks great with its low profile and small footprint. And the sound is excellent. I love how simple its is to adjust the sound using the blue sound App.
For quite some time I’ve been looking for the PSB Imagine B bookshelf speakers, and while I found a set for sale on eBay, I also noticed the incredible deal on the PSB Imagine T speakers! I wasn’t familiar with ‘The Audio Factory,’ despite owning the entire PSB Imagine XB/C/T2 speakers, and a NAD Streamer and DAC—come to find out, The Audio Factory is a distributor for these amazing brands! Not to mention, the deal on the PSB Imagine T speakers was absolutely incredible! These were the Tower speakers I wish I had bought when I originally purchased the Imagine X2T speakers.
The elegant shape of the cabinet on the Imagine T’s was also accompanied by quite the price tag, and when I first bought the X2T’s, I couldn’t quite afford the T’s. However, when I saw this incredible deal, I was skeptical at first—I thought for sure it was a scam, but after investigating, I realized just how incredible a deal it was! The shipping was incredibly quick, arriving within two days, and the piano gloss black speakers were in immaculate condition and are quite the stunners. The curved cabinets are an art piece alone, and that’s before even getting to the clarity and stunning sound staging these tower speakers have. I ended up listening to entire albums, from Reggae to Metal to EDM, they’re absolutely incredible and I would definitely recommend these tower speakers to anyone and everyone. Had I not already had a black cabinet center channel and black rear speakers, I would certainly have gone for the cherry color, as they’re about as beautiful a speaker as I’ve ever seen (though the gloss black are also stunning, just slightly less noticeable—which is why the cherry is just perfect to show off these art pieces)
All in all, The Audio Factory is incredible whether shipping, price or quality are considered—I’ve already been looking for more deals, specifically on the NAD A/V Receivers which have replaceable line-cards and I’ll definitely be purchasing more audio equipment from The Audio Factory—overall, it’s an 11/10 experience!
Easy set up no apps and superb sound. The recertified unit is like new. All good !
I bought this speaker after trying out the Amazon Echo Studio. The sound quality is far superior and it fit in with my other BlueOS devices much smoother than that stupid talking speaker. If it was a little less expensive I would get a second to have stereo sound.
