This is my second Pulse M. I will eventually use them as a stereo pair. Nicely packaged and fabulous full sound from a nice compact speaker unit. I had a problem connecting it to my wifi network but a very patient tech support person (Jay) guided me through troubleshooting steps until the issue was resolved.
Very pleased with these speakers. Still breaking them in but so far a very engaging and even tonal signature. They are also pleasant to look at and fill my largesish space surprisingly well. And in this instance raising them off the floor 3 or 4 inches made a big difference in soundstage height. Recommend.
Everything about this table exudes quality; the heavy, beautifully crafted real glass platter makes for stable playing. The aluminum lengthened tone arm is precise and has the right amount of rigidity and heft without feeling cumbersome. Every seam and surface is accounted for. Anything you touch has a solid, premium feel. The lid hinges can be individually tuned to allow the lid to remain open anywhere along the path (I have mine in a vertically tight space, so this was vital). The Ortofon OM10 gets the job done and sounds musical and revealing without being clinical and fatiguing . I replaced a relatively new Audio-Technica with A-T "Green" cartridge, and while that table sounds great, too, the NAD sounds noticeably better and more refined. I am happier with it than I expected I would be, which is always a great thing - HIGHLY recommended.
I was a little concerned about buying a refurbished amplifier but, from the time I started unboxing it, my concerns disappeared. I’m very happy with the sound, and using the BlueOs to access my streaming service is very convenient and easy.
Very disappointed. I have enjoyed NAD products for many years but this was a complete let down. The sound is mediocre, at best. They take forever to charge, they are not really wireless since you have to wear a connecting cord between the ear cups and even for my smaller head the clamping pressure is too much. If they hadn't come free with another purchase I would be returning them! Not recommended.
I've had these for about a month now. Previously, I had the Dali Suite 2.8 as my main speakers and they were fantastic. The Rubicon 6 out perform those on all levels. Music is just so smooth and you can pick out every instrument and voice and where they're located in the soundstage. I love how these speakers present music and I think you will too.
Really nice sounding speakers with a large soundstage.
Well balanced and clear.
Amazing. Blutooth wouldn’t connect to Samsung serif tv. Had to use HDMI. Use them 50/50 for tv and music and is amazing for both. Great product. Great sound.
Having used Nodes for years, and been impressed with their sound and software, I decided to try an Icon. The Icon builds on the sound quality and offers hassle free software. The display helps. I like this streamer a lot.
I already have the a Umik1 but wanted to make things simple and use the Dirac iPhone app. Got this mic, hooked it up to the M17 V2i and ran Dirac. Results were comparable to using a laptop and the Umik1.
The sound quality is really good. The accessories in the box are plentiful and useful. The battery life of the Bluetooth cable is absolutely horrendous. It lasts maybe 40 minutes after being fully charged. Once it gets to 20% of battery left, it will nag you once every 60 seconds that the battery is low.
I have to admit that I was really attracted to the looks of the P5. I love the dark oak vinyl along with the black face. The metal circles around the woofer and tweeter is perfect. They are relatively small speakers but without any help from a subwoofer they can handle the low frequencies just fine. Audio Science Review trashed them while my ears just love them. How they sound is all that matters, and these little beauties sound superb to me!
The C538 arrived very quickly and was well packaged in a repack box. It works well with both my NAD C338 through a coax connection and through my older C350 via analog connection. There is a cosmetic issue with the unit. The faceplate has what looks like spots caused perhaps by overspray of a cleaning solution. I've tried wiping them away with a damp cloth but they seem permanent. Other than that, it's a good unit. I give it an A+ for sound and function, and a B- for the cosmetic issue.
controls on front of player do not always work on the first attempt.
I bought the NAD CD player and powered speakers to play my CD collection. I love the simplicity of NAD components. No silly features and it just works. I was concerned about buying refurbished, but it’s in great condition. I’d definitely buy the C 538 again.
De très bons produits et livraison rapide…. Bravo.
I really like the Bluesound products. They are a big upgrade from my previous Sonos system. Much better sound and the app is better too.
I purchased these speakers about a week ago. There was a minor billing issue that was corrected by Audio Factory within less than 24 hrs. Happy with their responsiveness and speed of delivery as well.
From a product side, I really enjoy these speakers. They are very neutral, natural and relaxed, so they may not work well for high energy pop listeners. I really like the tone, clarity and sound staging - this does not sound like a vintage speaker.
Rest of system:
Hegel H90 integrated amp (60w @ 8ohms)
Darlington Labs MP7B phonostage
Project X1 turntable with 2M Bronze
Wiim Mini
Finicky on start-up, like, buyer's cold sweats. Had to unplug-replug it quite a few times for commands to operate (eject, swallow (!), play), especially from the device's built-in buttons. Happened less and less, and never, now, so... we'll see? The test of these things is time. As for the sound, build, functionality, etc., all good. Hence the 4 stars.
I replaced 4 Sonos rock speakers around my pool with 4 of these & wow! what a difference they look & sound great without a sub. Painted the white ones to match walls and mounted them @ 👂 level in an X formation
I have purchased a lot of hifi gear in my life, so I am in position to assess value. The C700 is fantastic product and value and even more so when purchased as a refurbished at the Audio Factory. I actually think it is my preferred NAD product and I have the C3050 and M10 V2.
very pleased with tge upgrade from Spektor 2 & Spektor Vokal to Oberon 5 & Oberon Vokal.
Still using Spektor 2's as rear in 5.1 surround.
I like that the Oberon Vokal is ported on the front instead of the rear as the Spektor Vokal, works better on my setup.
